Busby and Bilbray Meet on UCSD-TV’s “The Body Politic”
Analysis by UCSD political scientist Gary Jacobson follows discussion

Congressional candidates Francine Busby (D) and Brian Bilbray (R) will join “The Body Politic” host Michael Bernstein in the UCSD-TV studio on May 25 for 20 minutes of unscripted conversation about issues facing California's 50th District and the direction in which this country is headed. The conversation will be followed by a campaign assessment from UCSD political scientist and Congress-watcher Gary Jacobson. The program premieres on UCSD-TV Monday, May 29 at 9:30 p.m. and repeats through June 5.

The half-hour program “The Body Politic: California's 50th Congressional District” will be broadcast several times leading up to election day: May 29 at 9:30 p.m., May 30 at 11:30 p.m., May 31 at 7:30 p.m., June 2 at 7 p.m., June 4 at 7:30 p.m., and June 5 at 8 p.m. The special election to replace Rep. Randy “Duke” Cunningham will take place June 6.

Hosted by Michael Bernstein, Dean of Arts and Humanities and a professor of history and economics at UCSD, “The Body Politic” is UCSD-TV’s signature public affairs series, welcoming a range of experts to discuss the issues creating local, national and international news.
