HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS MOVIE TO BENEFIT
UCSD LIBRARIES AND THE MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS
The San Diego exclusive
premiere of the motion picture DR. SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE
CHRISTMAS screens twice on Nov. 14, 2000 at the Museum of Photographic
Arts' Joan & Irwin Jacobs Theater to benefit UCSD Libraries and
the Museum of Photographic Arts (MoPA).
The event will blend
Hollywood glamour with Dr. Seuss' off-kilter Who-ville. In addition to
the two exclusive film screenings, a Seussian Supper and Brickleberry
Libations reception will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The eagerly awaited film
brings Dr. Seuss' delightful Who-ville to life on the big screen. DR.
SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS stars Jim Carrey as the Grinch
in this hilarious and charming comedy-fantasy produced by Brian Grazer
and directed by Ron Howard. The film also stars Jeffrey Tambor, Molly
Shannon, Christine Baranski, Bill Irwin, Taylor Momesen and Clint
Howard. The San Diego premiere is made possible by Universal Pictures
and Imagine Entertainment.
Tickets for the premiere are
$200 per person and include an exclusive viewing of the film, in
addition to the reception and dinner. Seating is limited. For
