SAN DIEGO PREMIERE OF DR. SEUSS'
HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS MOVIE TO BENEFIT
UCSD LIBRARIES AND THE MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS

The San Diego exclusive premiere of the motion picture DR. SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS screens twice on Nov. 14, 2000 at the Museum of Photographic Arts' Joan & Irwin Jacobs Theater to benefit UCSD Libraries and the Museum of Photographic Arts (MoPA).

The event will blend Hollywood glamour with Dr. Seuss' off-kilter Who-ville. In addition to the two exclusive film screenings, a Seussian Supper and Brickleberry Libations reception will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The eagerly awaited film brings Dr. Seuss' delightful Who-ville to life on the big screen. DR. SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS stars Jim Carrey as the Grinch in this hilarious and charming comedy-fantasy produced by Brian Grazer and directed by Ron Howard. The film also stars Jeffrey Tambor, Molly Shannon, Christine Baranski, Bill Irwin, Taylor Momesen and Clint Howard. The San Diego premiere is made possible by Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.

Tickets for the premiere are $200 per person and include an exclusive viewing of the film, in addition to the reception and dinner. Seating is limited. For reservations and additional information call Dyanne Hoffman, UCSD Libraries, 858-534-8490.
