UCSD’S ELEANOR ROOSEVELT COLLEGE TO HOLD
COMMUNITYWIDE ‘VILLAGE STREET FAIR’ OCT. 11

As the culmination to Grand Opening week activities for Eleanor Roosevelt College at the University of California, San Diego, a “Global Village Street Fair” will be held 12 noon-4 p.m. Oct. 11 on the newly-opened ERC campus.

The event, said Resident Dean Rey Guerrero, is the first-ever to spotlight international and/or intercultural service or internship opportunities available to students in the San Diego area. Activities are free and open to the public.

Among local groups participating are Amity Institute, Amnesty International, Asia Media Inc., International Rescue Committee, Jaguar Sun Imports, Peace Corps, Project Concern International, Reality Changers, Teach for America, United Nations Association and many others.
