CANCELLATION NOTICE

EDITORS, please note:

An appearance by Zacharias Kunak, director of Atanarjuat (The Fast Runner), scheduled for 7:30 p.m. May 7 at the University of California, San Diego, has been cancelled due to a death in Kunuk’s family. The Inuit filmaker’s visit to UCSD from Igloolik, Canada, was scheduled as the third in a series of annual campus convocations.
However, a screening of the movie Atanarjuat will continue as previously scheduled at 7 p.m. May 6 in the Price Center Theatre. The movie is free and open to the public.
