“Chuck,” the pumpkin, will be dropped by members of the

This 155 pound pumpkin, donated by Becky Bevell of Bodacious Pumpkins of Fallbrook, has been filled with an assortment of smaller pumpkins and candy.

The pumpkin’s “splat” is measured each year. The largest splat in the history of the pumpkin drop occurred in 1995, when a 398-pound pumpkin spewed over 100 feet.
