Calendar Announcement


April 14, 2005 As a member of the board overseeing California’s stem cell research initiative, and as President of the prestigious Burnham Institute, John C. Reed, M.D. and Ph.D, is particularly appropriate to address the University of California, San Diego Economics Roundtable on what he has termed “the most promising medical research frontier for the 21st Century.” Dr. Reed will speak on “$3 Billion for Stem Cell Research: Proposition 71 and the California Biotech Industry,” beginning at 7:30 a. m. at the UCSD Faculty Club.
