EVENT: Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego

DATE/TIME: Friday, January 21, 2005 at 12:30 p.m.

LOCATION: Future Site of the Rady School on UC San Diego’s Campus
(Just north of Eleanor Roosevelt College and across the street from the Salk Institute. Map)

The Rady School of Management will begin construction on their new facility, which is the first at UCSD to be funded entirely by private initiatives.

Speakers at the groundbreaking will include:

  • Marye Anne Fox, Chancellor, UCSD
  • Robert S. Sullivan, Dean, The Rady School of Management
  • Ernest Rady, Founder and President of American Assets Inc.
  • William Stensrud, Managing Director and General Partner, Enterprise Partners Venture Capital
  • Martin Sabarsky, FlexMBA Class of 2006 Student and Senior Director
    of Corporate Development & Investor Relations, Diversa Corporation.

Rady School programs concentrate on fundamentals of business and management in a global environment, with a curriculum focused on management principles and business realities for organizations driven by science, technology and innovation.
