INDUSTRY LEADERS AND UCSD FACULTY TO DISCUSS CONVERGENCE OF WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERNET AT UCSD JACOBS SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING RESEARCH REVIEW

Industry leaders and UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering faculty will discuss
the wireless extension of the Internet and how it will change the way the
world works and communicates at the UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering
Research Review 2001. Reporters covering the event have the opportunity to
get a broad overview of the field, as well as file stories about the talks.
More than 600 business leaders, graduate students, alumni, and faculty are
expected to attend the event, which is sponsored by the Jacobs School's
Corporate Affiliates Program and is designed to foster research
