Roger Tsien's First Day as a Nobel Laureate

UCSD researcher Roger Tsien answers questions from reporters on speakerphone. Since early Wednesday morning, he has fielded calls from The New York Times, National Public Radio, Science, USA Today and Voice of America, among others. Tsien shared the 2008 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for the discovery of Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) and seminal work to design and create fluorescent molecules that enter cells and light up their inner workings.
