Professor Gershon Shafir, a highly regarded member of the University of California, San Diego Department of Sociology and an authority on Israel and the Middle-East, will address the Social Sciences Supper Club at 5:30 p.m. at the Faculty Club on the UCSD Campus. His talk is entitled, “Israel After Sharon.” The public is invited to attend, at a cost of $65 per person, which includes the lecture, dinner and parking.
