By Barry Jagoda

The Chief Economist for the Investment Strategies Group of the Bank of America, Allison (Lynn) Reaser, will speak on “Framing the Economic Outlook: The Forces Driving the Numbers,” when she addresses the University of California, San Diego Economics Roundtable on Tuesday, July 25, 2006.

The event will begin at 7:30 a.m. and is being held in the Leichtag Conference Room of the School of Medicine on the UCSD Campus. This is an alternative to the usual location of the Roundtable and a map to the Leichtag Conference Room may be accessed below.

Reaser is responsible for tracking and forecasting economic trends and evaluating their effects on the financial markets for the Bank of America. In Roundtable remarks she will anticipate financial trends and suggest their implications for the coming year, with an eye on stock markets, interest rates, job prospects, election implications and the effects of the war in Iraq.
Past chair of the American Bankers Association’s Economic Advisory Council, Reaser holds her Ph.D from UCLA.

The public is invited to attend the Economics Roundtable. The fee of $50 includes parking, continental breakfast and Reaser’s presentation.
