First Day of School at Preuss

More than 800 middle and high school students returned to The Preuss School UCSD on Monday, August 22, to begin their 2011-2012 school year at the #1 Transformative High School in the Nation (as designated by Newsweek Magazine). Preuss faculty, staff, donors, UC San Diego officials and other friends of the charter school were on hand to hear about the great work being done at Preuss and to welcome students back.<br /><br /><em>Photos by Erik Jepsen</em>
