November Is Career Development Month
By Colleen DeLory | November 8, 2004
The days of working in one position with one set of skills for the duration of your career are long gone. This month's focus on career development underscores the importance of assessing current and future workplace needs and responding to those needs with a plan for your career development. The University offers an abundance of classes, online tools, programs and services to assist.
The National Career Development Association sponsors National Career Development Month. This year's theme, "My Career: Imagine the Possibilities," will be explored in a poetry and poster contest.
