Resolve for a Better 2005
The
New Year is upon us and many members
of the UCSD community rang in 2005
by celebrating with friends and loved
ones. The New Year isn't just about
noise makers and party hats at midnight,
however. It is also a time for reflecting
on the past and setting goals for
the future. If you haven't thought
about your resolutions yet, here are
some from around campus to inspire
you. More

puzzle: How could a galaxy 300 million
light years away contain a stellar object
several billion light years away?

20 students each at the University of
Washington, UC Berkeley, and Microsoft
