Learn
at Lunch: Caregiving Survival
With the "graying" of our work
force, it is inevitable that UCSD employees will
be facing the unavoidable responsibility of caring
for their elderly parents. Most elderly people
needing care receive it from family members. Only
10-20 percent of the elderly requiring care receive
it from institutions. Eighty percent of non-professional
caregivers are women. If you are a UCSD employee
with eldercare responsibilities, this Learn-At-Lunch
presentation is designed just for you. Veronika
Glenn will address your concerns and provide a
wealth of educational handouts. More
