Fair Trade, Free Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream
Students gave away free Ben and Jerry's fair trade ice cream Friday on Library Walk to celebrate Fair Trade Month. Fair trade products come with a guarantee that farmers have earned a living wage, workers have used environmentally friendly techniques and no child or forced labor was involved.
