Students Urged to Show Their Genius at Career Fair
"Come over here and let your genius out," recruiters at the Microsoft booth urged during a career fair Oct. 10 on Library Walk. More than 170 employers, including Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard and Lockheed Martin were on campus to recruit students for jobs and internships. The Triton Fall Job and Internship Fair attracted students from across all majors, pressed and dressed for interviews.
Stews and Soups on the Menu for Learn at Lunch Session
Butternut squash soup, polenta with gorgonzola and Belgian beef stew were some of the delicacies on the menu this week during a standing-room only Learn at Lunch session. UCSD Catering Director Julia Engstrom and Executive Chef Bruce Millson demonstrated how to make the recipes and shared cooking and shopping tips with the audience. Students Get Advice
on How to Deal with Stress
UCSD students got a opportunity to get screened for anxiety and depression Thursday on Library Walk. A booth also gave them information about how to handle stress and related conditions.
