Halloween Costume Slideshow and Pumpkin Drop

Ghouls and ghosts of all ages not only celebrated Halloween at last week's Haunted Birch Aquarium, they also learned about climate change. The event celebrates science gone awry with creeps from the deep, experiments with scientists, live-animal encounters and other haunted activities.In this hands-on activity, young visitors helped solve "The Case of the Disappearing Ice" by determining the potential impacts that disappearing ice will have on sea-level rise and water supplies. They also learned about ice as habitat for animals and its cooling effect on the Earth.
