Special Rates Offered to Campus Community

Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is offering discounts of 20 percent for UC San Diego faculty, staff and students in all food and beverage areas, as well as weekday spa treatments.

The discounts are available through Sept. 7, 2009, and will apply to persons showing a valid UCSD identification. Advance reservations are recommended by calling 858 550-1000.

Estancia, located at 9700 N. Torrey Pines Road across from Eleanor Roosevelt College, opened in 2004 on UC San Diego land leased to Lowe Enterprises, the developer, and Destination Hotels & Resorts, which manages a number of upscale hotels throughout the country. The site was the former Blackhorse Farms, the domain of corrals and horses.
