Pre-Holiday Video Teleconferencing
to Connect Troops in Iraq with Their
San Diego-Area Families

WHAT: The San Diego Supercomputer Center is hosting a series of live video teleconferences enabling several San Diego-area families to speak with their loved ones stationed in Iraq. The calls are part of an ongoing partnership between SDSC and the Freedom Calls Foundation (www.freedomcalls.org) to keep troops and their families in touch during the holidays and throughout the year.
WHEN: Saturday, December 15th from 9:00 a.m. to about 2:00 p.m. News crews are encouraged to arrive early.
WHO: Interview opportunities with families from MCAS Miramar and Jim R. D’Aoust, Cyber-Infrastructure Partnership (CIP) Project Manager, San Diego Supercomputer Center.
WHERE: First Floor Auditorium, San Diego Supercomputer Center at the University of California, San Diego.
