Haunted Birch Aquarium

Ghouls and buoys of all ages are invited to spend a safe and haunted Halloween with the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography.

The aquarium will be transformed into a Haunted Aquarium on Oct. 28, Oct. 29 and Oct. 30, from 6-9 p.m. Kids can participate in spooky, slimy science activities, visit a pirate's cove, and go trick-or-treating. A costume contest will be held each evening and prizes will be awarded for the best marine-themed, scariest, and most creative costumes.

The Haunted Aquarium is open for all ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Fee is $13 per person. For registration or more information, please call the Birch Aquarium at Scripps at 858/534-7336 or visit the Birch Aquarium website.
