The “Top Docs” Are with UC San Diego Health Sciences

Nearly 130 physicians with UC San Diego Health System were named in San Diego Magazine’s “Physicians of Exceptional Excellence” survey. UC San Diego “Top Docs” placed in 39 specialties as well, with eight physicians ranked in multiple specialties.

“This annual recognition affirms that the best physicians in the region are faculty at UC San Diego School of Medicine,” said David Brenner, MD, vice chancellor of UC San Diego Health Sciences and dean of the UCSD School of Medicine. “Our doctors have a passion for the science behind the care they deliver and an even deeper passion for treating our patients.”

The “top docs” are named each year by physician-peer members of the San Diego County Medical Society. Members are asked to vote for board-certified physicians practicing in San Diego County to whom they would refer their own patients and family members.
