Vaping: A Serious Hit to Your Health
Vaping rates have recently increased by 48 percent in middle school students and 78 percent in high school students, according to Dr. Atul Malhotra, a critical care pulmonologist at UC San Diego Health. “I am seeing more (vaping) patients with serious lung issues in the ICU and it is devastating,” he said. Physicians also are concerned that “vaping is not an alternative to cigarette smoking, but rather a gateway,” he said. Read More »
