Three UC San Diego alumni earn Tony Award nominations

UC San Diego takes the stage in many programs—its Department of Theatre and Dance easily commanding the spotlight. Proof positive are three recent Tony Award nominations earned by alumni Michael Greif, nominated for Best Direction of a Musical; Jefferson Mays, nominated for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Play; and Paloma Young, nominated for Best Costume Design of a Musical. Commencement Weekend Parking and Traffic Impacts June 16-18

In support of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s visit to UC San Diego, we anticipate parking and transportation impacts June 16–18. Parking will be extremely limited. For traffic control and security purposes, many campus roads and parking lots will be closed to general traffic on Friday, June 16 for the Dalai Lama’s public address at RIMAC Field. We anticipate this event will significantly impact transportation and parking on and near campus. These impacts will continue Saturday and Sunday, June 17–18 due to commencement ceremonies and student move outs. Complete Details »
