This fall, the Office for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion will kick off a series of initiatives to emphasize UC San Diego’s Principles of Community as central tenets for a more equitable campus climate. The series—Engaging Our Principles of Community—will include seminars and workshops, as well as Campus Climate Enhancement Grant opportunities, ranging from $2,500 to $10,000. The Principles of Community serve as a foundation to provide fair and equitable treatment for all campus members, encourage a climate of cooperation and professionalism, foster inclusiveness and respect, and promote collaborative attitudes and actions.
