Computer Science and Engineering Department’s Celebration of Diversity highlights challenges, points towards solutions
They came in droves to sit in the Red Chair—graduate students, undergrads, faculty, staff, deans, the chancellor. They came to express their thoughts on diversity—and the results were powerful. The Red Chair was a central component in the Computer Science and Engineering Department’s first annual Celebration of Diversity. The idea came from the National Center for Women & Information Technology, part of their Sit With Me Campaign. Read More »
