Nashaya Ross remembers walking home from Lincoln High School, thrilled that she had gotten into her top college choice: UC San Diego. But her excitement soon turned to anxiety. “I started thinking, ‘How am I going to pay for college?’” But then, she got a telephone call with good news. She would receive a Chancellor’s Associates Scholarship, a full ride to attend UC San Diego. Last week, Ross was one of 33 students who were honored by Chancellor Pradeep K. Faculty and Staff Alert: New Design for Student Triton ID Cards

The Campus Card Office is alerting faculty and staff to be aware that beginning in fall 2014, incoming students will be carrying a redesigned Student Triton ID Card. In addition to serving as our students’ official photo identification card, the Triton Card provides access to campus buildings and events, lets them check out materials through the Library, allows the use of recreation facilities, serves as ID for tests and so much more.
